Mental Health Clinician, Substance Use Specialist, BC Canada

At Fraser Health, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Mental Health Clinician, Substance Use Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to individuals affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
With a strong focus on recovery-oriented approaches, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to clients. Your expertise in addictions counseling, psychiatric diagnosis, and professional practice guidelines will enable you to effectively assess, plan, and implement treatment plans for clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in an applicable social or health sciences program, such as Counselling Psychology or Social Work, and two years' recent related experience working with clients and families with, or affected by, mental illness and substance use disorders. You will also be eligible for registration with relevant professional associations and possess a valid B.C. Driver's License.
