As a Business Process Optimization Lead at The Home Depot Canada, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and excellence. With an estimated annual salary of $85,000 to $110,000 CAD, this position offers a competitive compensation package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have an understanding of business analysis, product development lifecycle, process mapping, and stakeholder management best practices. They will demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer and associate experiences through interconnected store processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Listens to and gains knowledge of customer and associate experiences, analyzes current processes, and provides recommendations for improvement.
    • Communicates strategy and priorities to stakeholders to achieve team objectives and goals.
    • Develops and gains alignment on solutions using an agile approach with internal and external IT teams.
  • Delivery & Execution:
    • Helps formulate, test, and refine assumptions through store feedback and proof of concept projects.
    • Validates current processes, aligns stakeholders on future state processes, and creates user stories with business stakeholders, UX, and IT partners.
    • Identifies and shares benefits, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements.
  • People:
    • Fosters collaboration with cross-functional team members (stores, stakeholders, IT, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments.
    • Advocates for customers and associates by providing insight on sales-driving activities.
    • Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience/Knowledge Required:
  • Minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M)
  • Flexible work shifts and travel as necessary
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, and Power Point
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
  • Self-starter, efficient, organized, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Google BigQuery are an asset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • Strong project management skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
