At Definity, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Process Optimization Lead to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business value by optimizing data processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Data Process Optimization Lead, you will play a key role in maximizing the chances of success and benefits for our Product.

You will be responsible for developing an Integrated Project/Sprint Plan and delivering confirmed scope on time and on budget. This includes managing project financials, proactively managing risks, issues, and change to support teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.

In addition, you will facilitate Scrum Events: Sprint planning, Daily standup, Sprint reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Refinement, and identify and remove obstacles and impediments.

You will also support and coach the Squad and Product Owner in implementing the Agile framework, facilitating collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and project involvement to ensure alignment and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Integrated Project/Sprint Plans to deliver confirmed scope on time and on budget
  • Manage project financials and proactively address risks, issues, and change to support teams
  • Facilitate Scrum Events to promote collaboration and teamwork
  • Serve as a servant leader, providing coaching and guidance to the Squad and Product Owner
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through process optimization and Lean principles
Requirements:
  • Understanding of Agile in a Scrum Master/Scrum Coach role, with ideal certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM))
  • Experience working in data-related change and understanding/knowledge of data analytics, engineering, governance, quality, security, and science processes and best practices
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in data-related projects, ideally with accreditation in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics)
  • Ability to adapt Agile and Scrum practices to unique data challenges and lead/motivate Agile and cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in Lean, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, DevSecOps, and Design Thinking

Actual salary for this role may vary depending on location and other factors, including skills, education, experience, and local labor market conditions. Eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans subject to individual and company performance. Estimated annual salary range is $74,100 - $136,500.
