The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing plastic injection molding processes to ensure optimal production efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current cycle times of injection molding machines and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce cycle times without compromising product quality.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to mold performance, machinery, and materials that impact overall efficiency.
  • Monitor and record processing data to analyze trends and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, mold shop, and production teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience working with plastic injection and/or blow molding.
  • Proficiency in injection molding process parameters, machinery, and mold design.
  • Injection Molding Professional Certification is an asset.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
