Campus Business Development Manager

Assistant General Manager RoleAs a key member of our campus team, you will play a vital role in growing our business by providing critical support to local marketing and operations. You will work closely with your fellow student General Manager to develop and execute marketing plans, recruit and train local ambassadors, and organize events to build a community around our brand.
Your Responsibilities- Marketing and Brand Awareness: Develop and execute marketing plans to increase brand awareness and diner acquisition.
- Ambassador Management: Recruit, train, and oversee local ambassadors to promote Kangaroo and create engaging content.
- Event Organization: Organize events to build a community and experience around our brand.
- Restaurant and Courier Support: Help support Kangaroo's local restaurant partners and courier network.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with Kangaroo HQ and other student team members to innovate solutions to challenges and implement best practices.
- Academic Background: Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.
- Marketing and Communications Experience: Some experience in marketing and/or communications, or a demonstrated competency and passion in this field.
- Local Market Knowledge: Deep knowledge and understanding of your local campus market.
- Time Management and Execution: Ability to get things done and execute well, while balancing academic and professional requirements.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to be coached and trained to maximize your potential and the potential of the local business you'll be responsible for.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to effectively manage your time, communicate with team members, and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
