About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer/Consultant to join our team at Alithya. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cyber Security Governance and Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and management activities to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Cyber Security Training and Development: Develop and deliver cyber security training materials and conduct organizational training as a subject matter expert.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation, including risk and control assessments, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) as required, diagnosing issues and effectively communicating solutions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work independently and as part of a team in a project-based environment to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience working in the field of cyber security, preferably in an operational technology (OT) environment, I&C, or nuclear.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or any related field.
  • Skills: Experience preparing client deliverables in the form of technical documentation, network architecture, and basic networking concepts such as communication protocols, network topology, transmission media, etc.
  • Certifications: CSIS Level 2 security clearance (preferably at OPG or Bruce Power), firewall and network switch configurations, ICS communication protocols, ICS security components, physical and logical hardening controls, etc.
