We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Specialist to contribute to our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives within the nuclear sector. This role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site and two days remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and management strategies.
- Develop and deliver cyber security training materials tailored for organizational needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) during training sessions.
- Prepare and evaluate technical documentation, including engineering documents, to facilitate risk and control assessments.
- Execute factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT), troubleshooting issues and communicating effective solutions.
- Collaborate independently and within a team in a project-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six years of experience in cyber security, ideally within operational technology (OT), instrumentation and control (I&C), or nuclear settings.
- A post-secondary degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in preparing technical documentation for client deliverables.
- Familiarity with network architecture and fundamental networking concepts, including communication protocols and network topology.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, NERC CIP, or CSA N290.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CSIS Level 2 security clearance, preferably with relevant organizations.
- Experience with firewall and network switch configurations.
- Understanding of ICS communication protocols and security components, as well as physical and logical hardening controls.
