We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer/Consultant to join our team at Alithya. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing cyber security governance risk and compliance (GRC) activities for our nuclear clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments and management activities to ensure the security of our clients' systems and data.
- Develop and deliver cyber security training materials to our clients and internal teams.
- Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) as required, diagnosing issues and effectively communicating solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a project-based environment to achieve project goals.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in the field of cyber security, preferably in an operational technology (OT) environment, I&C, or nuclear.
- Post-secondary degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or any related field.
- Experience preparing client deliverables in the form of technical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with NIST Cyber Security Framework, NERC CIP, or CSA N290.
- CSIS Level 2 security clearance (preferably at OPG or Bruce Power).
- Firewall and network switch configurations.
- ICS communication protocols, ICS security components, physical and logical hardening controls.
