Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Security Investigator.
Job Summary: The Security Investigator will be responsible for conducting sensitive investigations and collaborating with various business units to ensure adherence to corporate standards and the prevention of losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Senior Manager in the Security and Emergency Services division to carry out confidential investigations and gather intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with the corporate Code of Business Conduct and maintain the security of facilities.
- Develop and implement corporate security strategies, policies, and objectives.
- Provide expert guidance and support regarding security matters and legal interpretations.
Specific Duties:
- Conduct investigations related to violations of corporate policies and applicable laws, collaborating with law enforcement as necessary.
- Design and deliver security awareness programs to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Develop training materials and conduct educational sessions for employees and external partners.
- Provide expert advice on physical security systems and develop new security measures tailored to industry needs.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree or a two-year diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of six years of experience in investigations, preferably in law enforcement or corporate settings.
- Strong skills in evidence collection, reporting, and presentation.
- Proficient in IT applications and security controls.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to obtain federal government security clearance.
