Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional service and high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise and motivate housekeeping staff.
