POSITION SUMMARY: Be a Key Player in Our New Hotel Launch

We are excited to announce the opening of our new hotel, which will provide a welcoming environment for business travelers, groups, and families. Located in a prime area, our hotel will feature 110 well-appointed rooms and suites, versatile meeting spaces, and a variety of amenities including a complimentary breakfast, indoor pool, business center, and outdoor patio.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality and by exceeding expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all housekeeping areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and staff areas.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of housekeeping staff, including performance evaluations and setting performance standards.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas, providing constructive feedback to staff to promote positive reinforcement.
  • Schedule staff according to occupancy forecasts and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory levels of linens and cleaning supplies, including ordering and receiving as necessary.
  • Ensure timely communication of room availability to the Guest Services Department.
  • Document maintenance requests and collaborate with the Maintenance Department to uphold service quality standards.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring follow-up for satisfaction.
  • Uphold company policies and effectively communicate them to team members.
  • Provide training on safety, security, and departmental procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a proven record of achieving results.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • A commitment to quality and exceptional guest service.
