Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at 709027 ALBERTA LTD. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking sushi dishes to a high standard, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
