About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Banff Hospitality Collective. This dynamic restaurant & karaoke bar features a vibrant atmosphere, a sushi bar, and a wide range of culinary delights. The menu features shareable bar bites, sushi hand rolls, grilled yakitori skewers, and crispy fried dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to high standards, accommodating customer requests and dietary needs.
- Ensure quality assurance by following instructions, presentation specifications, and maintaining organized ingredients.
- Collaborate with management and team members to provide timely and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef.
- Proficient in sushi preparation, knife skills, fish butchery, and rolling techniques.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to train and lead team members.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
