At Northern Health, we are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team in Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dietitian to provide dietetic services to inpatients and residents of Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa. As part of our inter-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals/providers to achieve excellence in nutritional health services and education.

Responsibilities
  • Provides dietetic services to inpatients and residents
  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals/providers to achieve excellence in nutritional health services and education
  • Maintains standards of dietetic practice
  • Performs administrative duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics plus one year's internship at an accredited institute
  • Membership in the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (Reserved Acts A and B)
  • Eligibility for membership in the Dietitians of Canada
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively in a team situation
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $40.75 - $50.87 per hour. Our comprehensive benefits package includes extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees.
