Job Summary

Are you a registered Physiotherapist seeking a new challenge in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Physiotherapy department at Northern Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist II, you will work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, providing physiotherapy services to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, to clients in various settings.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Teach clients and others, both one-on-one and in groups, to promote independence and health outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education to advance the profession and department.

Requirements

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• One year of recent related experience.
• Valid BC Driver's license where required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
