The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Clinical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy team at Grace Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily clinical service delivery, providing guidance to physiotherapists and support staff, and contributing to the development of quality physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily clinical service delivery and address environmental/operational issues in designated service areas.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, supervision, education, evaluation, and research to physiotherapists and support staff.
- Contribute to the delivery of quality physiotherapy services through examining, developing, refining, and evaluating clinical practices.
- Assist with performance appraisals, recruitment, and coordinating clinical work schedules, caseloads, and service rotations.
- Minimum of five years recent, relevant physiotherapy experience in a large complex environment required.
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated required.
- Graduate degree at the master's level in physiotherapy or related health or health management field preferred.
- Training in fiscal and human resource management preferred.
- Knowledge of integrated hospital information systems, including a physiotherapy workload measurement system, would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, and role-modelling skills.
- Ability to function creatively and with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated expertise in adult education preferred.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive health and dental plan, life insurance, and a pension plan.
