We are currently seeking a Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Victoria General Hospital. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Salary: $45,119 - $43,808 per annum

The successful candidate will possess recent and relevant clinical experience, as well as an entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated. They must also be registered on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba and have certification with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. They will also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides quality physiotherapy services, including consultation, client assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and WRHA policies.
  • Participates in education and training programs, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.

This is a full-time opportunity working 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend shifts. The successful candidate must be willing to commit to ongoing professional development and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
