">Job Summary:
">We are seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our team at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. Your role will involve administering prescribed medical treatments, leading the healthcare team, and facilitating patient care coordination and discharge.

- Administer prescribed medical treatments, such as medications and therapies.">
- Lead the healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care.">
- Facilitate patient care coordination and discharge planning.">
- Demonstrate a commitment to the WRHA's vision, values, goals, and objectives.">
- Maintain and provide proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).">
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.">
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.">
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement within the WRHA.">
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.">
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.">
- Identify and report potential risks and concerns to supervisor or manager.">
- Adhere to WRHA policies, procedures, and guidelines related to patient confidentiality, data management, and workplace safety.">
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.">
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports related to patient care and treatment.">
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information.">
- Perform administrative tasks as required, such as answering phones and responding to emails.">
- Contribute to a positive work environment that supports teamwork and collaboration.">
- Maintain a safe and respectful work environment for all employees, patients, and visitors.">
- Follow established protocols for infection control, wound management, and other relevant areas.">
- Stay current with best practices and industry developments related to clinical nursing.">
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to WRHA standards for cleanliness and hygiene.">
- Support the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.">
- Attend meetings and participate in discussions related to patient care, quality improvement, and professional development.">
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to WRHA policies related to patient information and personnel matters.">
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Current medical nursing experience is preferred.">
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.">
- Successful completion of a relevant post-basic program may be required.">
- Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).">
- Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.">
- Current B.C.L.S. certification is required.">
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.">
- Knowledge of Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.">
- Knowledge of Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).">
- Knowledge of Regional/Facility/Unit policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.">
- Knowledge of Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area.">
- Knowledge of Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Protection of Persons in Care Act, Mental Health Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions) and other legislated acts.">
- Roles and responsibilities of members of the healthcare team.">
- Principles of delegation.">
- Effective oral and written communication skills.">
- Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.">

Estimated Salary Range:
">$40,616 - $49,826 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
