Winnipeg Clinical Educator Position

This clinical educator role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a key member of our educational team.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing and have a minimum of four years recent related nursing experience with demonstrated competency in a pediatric area of clinical nursing practice. Previous experience in teaching, education, and program development and evaluation is preferred.
Responsibilities include educational program development for nursing staff, teaching and learning activities, and nursing practice standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
We welcome applicants who are proficient in an Indigenous language and/or knowledgeable about Indigenous customs, traditions, and values. Evidence of knowledge of the principles of adult learning and teaching strategies is also essential.
Qualifications and Skills
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values
- Evidence of knowledge of the principles of adult learning and teaching strategies
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and application of cultural safety and anti-racism priorities within healthcare
