Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting workplace inspections, investigating complaints and accidents, and ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections and investigations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance workplace safety and prevent accidents
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues and promote a culture of safety
  • Provide education and training to employees and employers on workplace safety and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A related trade or technical training in Occupational Health and Safety, with 7 years of related experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
