Job Overview

The City of Ottawa is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Office Coordinator to join our team. This role will be based in our Sexual Health Centre, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing various clinical reception duties, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing test results to clients. You will also provide administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
  • Process payments from clients accurately and efficiently
  • Provide test results to clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Completion of 1 year post-secondary certificate in office administration or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of related office/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with graphics and desktop publishing procedures and software is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $59,153.64 - $69,209.14 annually, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
