About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor-Estimator to join our team at Avanica Furniture & Decor. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for projects
    • Develop and maintain accurate cost monitoring and reporting systems
    • Analyze tenders and recommend awards to ensure optimal project outcomes
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure seamless project execution
    • Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
    • Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient project delivery
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail
