Job Title: Quantity Surveyor-Estimator

Avanica furniture & Decor is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor-Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, operating CADD and other computer software systems, and providing economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Operate computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to create detailed drawings and estimates
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost records and reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
