About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor-Estimator to join our team at Avanica Furniture & Decor. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our projects.
    • Develop and maintain accurate cost monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with our project managers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
    • Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.
  • Contract Administration
    • Analyze tenders and recommend awards to our project managers.
    • Set up and maintain contracts with suppliers and trade contractors.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to our clients.
    • Provide regular project updates to our stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems.
