Health Careers in Sask is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. This is a part-time regular position with a total of 112 hours per six weeks, requiring the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
About the JobThis role involves providing community-based mental health counseling services to clients within the Child and Youth Mental Health Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, family, group, and crisis counseling sessions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community mental health and addictions, with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree and at least one year of recognized postgraduate experience in this field. They must also possess excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills, as well as the ability to act professionally, ethically, and with sound judgment.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $35,137 and $42,966 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This amount reflects the current market rate for social workers in Saskatchewan.
