About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at CultureLink Settlement and Community Services. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about working with youth and contributing to the development of community programs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive outreach strategy, implementing workshops and programs, and coordinating with community partners. They will also provide support to clients through technology and online tools, maintaining positive relationships with partners and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a comprehensive outreach strategy to engage with youth and promote program services
  • Implement workshops and programs, coordinating with facilitators and ensuring smooth execution
  • Provide in-person and online training on self-marketing, infographic resumes, and digital portfolios using Canva
  • Organize registration of participants for group activities, prepare promotional materials, and publicize events
  • Coordinate with community partners, volunteers, and placement students as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education or degree in a field relevant to human services, or equivalent experience and education
  • Three years of community work experience, preferably in the employment sector
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office and various social media tools
  • Familiarity with OCMS (OCASI Client Management System) is an asset
Working Conditions

This is a bargaining unit position that requires occasional in-person work at one or more sites, depending on public health conditions. You must be proficient with technology and online tools, such as Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meets.

The estimated salary for this position is between $25.12 and $26.65 per hour, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
