The Community Mental Health Worker 2 will function as part of the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) healthcare team and as a member of a specific Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) multi-disciplinary specialized team.
The successful candidate will provide life skills, advocacy, supportive counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation planning, and general support duties involving clients who are living in their own housing.
Reporting to the HCIS Manager, the Community Mental Health Worker 2 will work within a psychosocial rehabilitation/harm reduction framework and informed by existing psychiatric and other health professional assessments.
Scheduling InformationShift types for this position are days, and shift times are from 08:00 to 18:00 hours. This is a casual opportunity with no guaranteed hours.
