About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at JS Romana Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping staff to ensure the highest level of quality and productivity.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance and development of our outdoor spaces, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Project Management: Plan, estimate, and manage labor and materials for landscaping projects, including construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for landscaping services and materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of landscaping equipment, including chain saws, small engine equipment, and tractors.
  • Worksite Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy worksite environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced outdoor environment with frequent exposure to the elements.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
