Position Overview

As a Landscape Operations Supervisor at JS ROMANA LANDSCAPING, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our landscaping projects and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

This position primarily involves working outdoors, where you will manage various landscaping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule staff effectively.
  • Plan and oversee grounds maintenance activities.
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for projects.
  • Organize and supervise the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction efforts.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs.
  • Prepare and manage contracts.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements for productivity and quality.
  • Establish work schedules and operational procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Equipment Proficiency

Experience with the following equipment is essential:

  • Chain saw
  • Small engine equipment
  • Sod cutter
  • Tractor mower
Work Conditions

This role requires:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina for demanding tasks.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Flexibility to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
