Job Summary
- Sell new and used equipment to customers within assigned territories, focusing on Ditch Witch trenchers, plows, and drills, as well as Morbark brush chippers and Rayco stump grinders.
- Travel extensively throughout the designated territory to engage with current and prospect accounts, building relationships and growing our customer base.
- Monitor customer business activities and needs, maintaining accurate status reports and documenting sales call activities.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote products and services within the territory.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends, ensuring strong competitive positioning.
- Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner, managing travel expenses efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in the trenching, plowing, drilling, or tree care industries, with a track record of sales growth in defined territories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Familiarity with the underground and tree care markets, including key players and industry developments.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A valid driver's license and passport, with a willingness to travel internationally.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
