Job Summary

At Churchill Health Centre, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients and residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Work under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Previous Health Care Aide experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Successful completion of a Health Care Aide training program is mandatory.
  • CPR Certification is required and must be updated annually.

Requirements

  • Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and write Cree or Dene is an asset.

Physical Demands

  • May involve heavy lifting at times.
  • May require prolonged standing, walking, or sitting.
  • May involve contact with clients who exhibit aggressive behavior.
