Job Title: Community Health Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community Health Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian Red Cross. In this role, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapist to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of our Health Equipment Loan Program, including the Specialized Equipment Program and Transitional Care Unit pilot expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery and pickup of equipment to hospitals and long-term care facilities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment loans and returns.
  • Support administrative functions, including financial transactions and information flow to the public.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and facilities to ensure smooth program delivery.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or diploma in a health-related field.
  • 1-2 years of job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Ability to complete a successful pre-employment screening process.
