We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 7957335 Canada Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
Assign Sales Workers to DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for assigning sales workers to duties, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets.
Establish Work SchedulesThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for establishing work schedules for sales staff, ensuring that they are working at peak times and meeting sales targets.
Sell MerchandiseThe successful candidate will be responsible for selling merchandise, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
Prepare ReportsThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
Resolve IssuesThe successful candidate will be responsible for resolving issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
Organize and Maintain InventoryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
Manage CashThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash, ensuring that it is handled securely and efficiently.
Requirements- Education
The successful candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work SettingThe Retail Store Supervisor will work in a retail service establishment and retail business environment.
TasksThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, establishing work schedules, selling merchandise, preparing reports, resolving issues, organizing and maintaining inventory, and managing cash.
SupervisionThe Retail Store Supervisor will supervise 1 to 2 people.
Area of SpecializationThe successful candidate will have experience in a retail store environment.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe Retail Store Supervisor will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environment.
Personal SuitabilityThe successful candidate will have excellent client focus, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
ExperienceThe Retail Store Supervisor will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail store environment.
Support for Newcomers and RefugeesThe successful candidate will provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for YouthsThe Retail Store Supervisor will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
