**Key Responsibilities**

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and department leaders to efficiently and effectively fulfill hiring requests.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements to attract potential candidates on professional networks.
  • Actively source candidates using industry best practices to develop a talent pool, building strong relationships and a network of candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Organize career fairs, perform outreach to career resources, and analyze resumes and interviews applicants that match job descriptions and information from relevant managers.
  • Present qualified candidates to respective hiring managers, provide interview follow-up communications, and track applicant flow in the applicant tracking system.
  • Arrange reference and background checks for potential employees and develop social media campaign strategies.
  • Manage and monitor all social media accounts and work a hybrid model when not traveling.

**Requirements**

  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent listener, and demonstrated understanding of general recruiting principles and industry best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to positively present our company and its open roles to potential candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of the company, industry, and competitors.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.

**Education and Experience**

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' recruiting experience in heavy industry where skilled trades make up half of the workforce.
  • Knowledge of Paycor or similar tracking system, and Workday's recruitment module.
  • Legally permitted to work throughout Canada without sponsorship.
