Job Description

Altis Recruitment & Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Proposal Specialist to join our Corporate Proposals division.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing clear and effective responses to Corporate Requests for Proposals, working closely with our team to create winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review websites for new opportunities to bid on and drive business
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each opportunity by reading RFPs and flagging concerns with questions for client clarification
  • Develop compelling questions to ensure a positive response from clients
  • Identify new responses required and research possible answers through various methods, including interviewing colleagues
  • Write answers that reflect our company and brand, tailored to the client's question
  • Prepare templates for proposals and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop new content
  • Work with teams across the organization to plan, strategize, and gather information for proposal responses
  • Develop a draft of the proposal for quality review and write an effective response to the RFP
  • Perform a thorough Quality Assurance process to ensure the final proposal submission meets our established style and quality level
  • Submit the proposal, ensuring all mandatory elements are sent to the client by the submission closing date
  • Maintain a strong proposal repository and perform additional proposal support tasks as required
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of writing experience in a professional setting, including grant writing, creative writing, journalism, content writing, or previous proposal writing
  • Strong technical abilities and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Driven professional with a strong sense of accountability and self-motivation
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Naturally curious with a strong desire to learn and grow

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
