Biological Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biological Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading and managing research projects, supervising laboratory technical personnel, and contributing to the development of new research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage research projects, including experimental design, data analysis, and publication of results.
- Supervise laboratory technical personnel, including biological technologists and technicians, and other scientists.
- Contribute to the development of new research initiatives, including proposal writing and grant applications.
- Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of biological systems and develop new treatments for diseases.
- Develop and implement effective laboratory management strategies to ensure efficient and safe operation of the laboratory.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior researchers and laboratory personnel.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research developments and advancements in the field of biological sciences.
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a research laboratory setting, with a strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and publication of results.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of researchers and laboratory personnel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other researchers and scientists.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to achieving research goals and objectives.
