Job Title: Biological Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Research Manager to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, supervising technical personnel, and conducting research in immunology and neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals
  • Oversee biological technologists and technicians and other scientists
  • Produce reports and prepare research papers, educational texts, or articles
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Conduct interviews and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia
  • Offer mentoring and present materials at conferences or symposia
  • Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in research management
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
