Job Title: Biological Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting research in the field of neuroscience and contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences, with a focus on neuroscience. You will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings to the research team. You will also be expected to supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the mechanisms of neurological disorders
  • Analyze data and present findings to the research team
  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with other researchers to advance the field of neuroscience
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in research and development
  • Strong background in neuroscience and biological sciences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
