About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Exacta Interpreting Inc. as a Recruitment and Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategies: Plan, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire the best candidates for our organization.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and interviews with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Office Administration: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Staff Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including typing, proofreading, and preparing correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Talent Acquisition: Recruit and hire staff, including coordinating interviews, reference checks, and onboarding processes.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for Diverse Groups: Apply accessible and inclusive recruitment policies to accommodate persons with disabilities, support newcomers and refugees, offer mentorship and coaching to youth, veterans, and Indigenous workers, and apply hiring policies that discourage age and visible minority discrimination.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
