Job Title: Business Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Director to join our team at Yorkville University and Toronto Film School. As a key member of our national People team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing people and culture strategies that align with our mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with academic and business leaders to define, develop, and implement people and culture strategies that support our organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their hiring needs, identify diverse talent, and develop strategies for recruitment and retention.
  • Ensure People practices in hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation support a diverse, inclusive, collaborative organizational culture and comply with regional and national labour laws and regulations.
  • Coach and advise leaders on best practices in performance management that enable a high-performance and highly engaged workforce.
