About the Role

Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Rental Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and negotiate sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, and use this information to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Penske's rental products and services, and be able to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong Sales and Communication Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, negotiate sales agreements, and effectively communicate the value of Penske's rental products and services.
  • Market Analysis and Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and use this information to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Penske's rental products and services, and ability to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Team Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, adapt to changing priorities and sales strategies, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced sales environment.
