About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Cold Lake Restaurant Limited Partnership. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
