About the Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing kitchen team and driving culinary excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu concepts that align with the restaurant's vision and values.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for food and culinary innovation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional food quality.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled cooks, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and ordering procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with front-of-house management and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members to drive growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve kitchen operations and menu offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a similar environment.
  • Passion for food, culinary innovation, and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and vision, with a focus on driving results and achieving excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
