Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team. As an Application Engineer at Voyis, you will provide technical support and guidance to our customers, with exposure to all elements of our products. This multifaceted role is ideal for candidates who want to gain exposure to complex underwater robotics systems and own how Voyis' products integrate as sensor payloads on subsea vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including pre-sale project feasibility assessments and front-line customer support.
  2. Assist customers with hardware and software integrations into their subsea vehicles, including remote support and frequent travel to customer sites.
  3. Facilitate customer training to ensure success, including both remote and in-person training.
  4. Support sales with solution development for new opportunities and execute data processing to generate 3D data deliverables.
  5. Develop and maintain training documentation and be the voice of the customer within Voyis, providing post-delivery feedback and feature requests that inform the product roadmap.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background, effective communication skills, and a proven ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Technical Support, Surveying, or Data Processing fields and a general understanding of mechanical, electrical, networking, and software systems.

Bonus points for experience in subsea survey or exploration, offshore/ocean survey, data processing, software programming, and knowledge of optical systems.
