Job Title: Application Engineer II

At Ansys, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer II to join our team. As an Application Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, helping them to overcome complex engineering challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers, including product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products and features.
  • Conduct research and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and whitepapers.
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts to promote Ansys products and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a technical support or engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of Ansys products and technologies, including Fluent, Mechanical, and CFD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a technical support or engineering role.
  • Experience with Ansys products and technologies, including Fluent, Mechanical, and CFD.
  • Experience with CFD simulation for package, board, system level modeling.
  • Experience with multiphysics aspects of electronics design.
