About the Role

We seek an experienced Securities Lawyer to advise clients on matters related to securities law, including public offerings, private placements, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of our team, you will draft and review legal documents, manage securities transactions, and represent clients in dealings with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on securities law, including public offerings, private placements, and compliance with securities regulations.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents related to securities transactions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for securities-related transactions.
  • Stay informed of changes in securities law and advise clients accordingly.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in securities law, preferably with a focus on corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
