Commercial Banking Specialist

First Nations Bank of Canada is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for structuring and packaging competitive solutions to meet customers' needs, managing and developing relationships, and analyzing financial data to write credit applications.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time opportunity that offers flexible working arrangements, including in-person in the branch, remote, or a hybrid of both. You will work closely with our Senior Manager & Team Lead to develop and implement effective sales growth strategies, provide guidance to other team members, and contribute to the day-to-day risk management of the commercial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their financial needs
- Analyze financial data to write credit applications and make informed lending decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities and growing revenue and profitability
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement sales growth strategies
- Provide guidance and training to other team members
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent
- At least three (3) years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry with a background in business banking
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio in a complex commercial and First Nations industry
- Working knowledge of portfolio management
