This is a remote role that requires a deep understanding of occupational health and safety principles and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or update health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implement industry best practices and advancements in safety technology and methodologies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Create training programs and support staff on health and safety protocols.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a qualified professional with proven North American work experience in a health and safety role. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of relevant local, provincial, and federal health and safety regulations and standards, including Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven practical experience in developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
