Job Summary

The Accounting and Administrative Technician will work under the supervision of the Financial Manager to ensure accurate financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing vendor accounts and ensuring timely payments.
  • Reviewing and processing vendor invoices for approval and accurate accounting.
  • Managing customer accounts, including order tracking, invoicing, and collections.
  • Processing payroll and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Providing training to new employees on timekeeping and payroll procedures.
  • Preparing government reports and reconciliations.
  • Managing corporate credit card expenses and tracking weekly liquidity projections.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial analyses.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the accounting cycle.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems (an asset).
  • Fluency in French (oral and written) and intermediate-level English (an asset).
  • Autonomy, dynamism, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential data.
