We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for coordinating the accounts payable process and ensuring timely payments to our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices
  • Manage a high volume of invoices for our multi-divisional business
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the procurement department and suppliers to analyze and track expenses
  • Prepare and send payments to suppliers
  • Prepare and submit rebate reports to suppliers
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers
  • Verify and reconcile supplier statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for corporate clients
  • Perform other related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • DEP or DEC in accounting (asset)
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role (asset)
  • Knowledge of SAP (asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
